In these unprecedented times, we wish to keep you assured that the safety and health of our guests, our partners and our suppliers is our highest priority. Without you, we wouldn’t be here, so your wellbeing is at the top of our list. We are constantly keeping on top of the latest information, and following the guidance of governments and the WHO (World Health Organisation), and have updated our policies and processes to ensure that we prioritise your safety now and in the future.
We are keeping constant checks of our accommodation providers to ensure that their facilities are up to current health standards. This includes full sanitisation of both public and private areas, including rooms, lobbies, elevators and all facilities. We only select the best properties that we trust and have good relationships with, and so we are fully assured that they are keeping everything safe for our guests.
All our experience providers are required to follow all local guidelines. For tours, this requires small groups, wearing face-coverings at all times, and the guides/tour leaders will have hand sanitiser available, reapplying regularly. Some experiences, such as cooking classes and others requiring close quarters or possible contamination, will be temporarily suspended, but will return as soon as it is safe and possible to do so.
Our transport providers, including all private drivers and train companies, use full sanitisation methods for their vehicles, and require social distancing. With cars this involves a perspex screen between drivers and passengers. Drivers and conductors are also required to wear face coverings at all times and use hand sanitiser regularly.
We have also updated our terms and conditions regarding cancellation policies. In the event of travel restrictions or lockdowns after booking, a full refund will be provided, or we also have the option to postpone at no extra cost.
As with all travellers and tourism providers, we hope the recent news of a Covid-19 vaccine will return travel to a much safer position in the coming year. However, our commitment to your safety will not be changing, and we will continue to ensure that we, and our partners, are continually committed to making sure that you, our guests, are safe and healthy.
